In Linterna Verde, we analyze the impact of technology on democracy and human rights, addressing key issues such as content moderation, disinformation, platform regulation and the influence of artificial intelligence in digital spaces.

Since 2021, we have led this conversation through Circuito, an initiative that was born as an independent project and that today is consolidated as Linterna Verde's technology and democracy newsletter. Throughout these years, we have examined the tensions between technology and digital governance, delving into issues such as freedom of expression online, the challenges of content moderation, platform regulation, disinformation in electoral processes and the use of artificial intelligence in political campaigns.

In 2024, we expanded this effort with the launch of the Network of Experts on Democracy and Technology, in partnership with La Silla Vacía. This space brings together researchers, journalists and key players in the digital ecosystem with the aim of fostering a diverse and informed conversation about the challenges and opportunities of technology, both in digital environments and in face-to-face dialogue spaces.
