Among others, these resources can be used to support the design of search keys for research and monitoring, to make visible certain manifestations of these discourses in Colombia and to offer contextual inputs for content moderation.
This publication has been produced with the support of the European Union and UNESCO. Its contents are the sole responsibility of Linterna Verde and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union or UNESCO.
While these resources include term bases related to potentially harmful content identified online, this does not mean that the use of these words automatically constitutes hate speech. For such judgments, it is necessary to make an individual assessment of the content and take into account its context. Nor, as the tool makes clear, is it an exhaustive resource.
