For more than five years we have advanced our mission to empower civil society organizations in Latin America to play a qualified role in the digital public debate. In 2023, under the co-direction of Carlos Cortés and Tatiana Restrepo, we made significant strategic advances in our purpose of working for a more democratic digital environment.

In 2024 we embark on a change of management structure. Carlos Cortés assumes the unified executive management to lead the organization into a new phase of growth and maturity. This evolution of Linterna Verde aims at a greater dissemination of our products among non-specialized audiences and a constructive participation in discussions of interest to the public.

Although Tatiana Restrepo is embarking on new professional directions, she will become part of the organization's board of directors, which underwent a renewal process as part of the strengthening of our governance. She is joined by Adriana Correa, Juan Fernando Giraldo and Pablo Cárdenas (read more about who we are).

We thank Tatiana, who has been part of Linterna Verde since its creation, for her work and commitment during this period. To all others who have been part of this journey, we invite you to continue accompanying us in the effort to foster a more informed, critical and participatory digital environment.
